Follow-up to an earlier post:
I discovered two things this week: two products, in fact. The first is a product called Feliway, which acts as a sort of cat sedative or calming influence (think of it as potent weed for felines). My vet's office used it to calm down Luther when he was in the office undergoing tests, and it really seemed to work. I bought the spray, but they also have diffusers that can be used in a home or office (think "Glade Plug-Ins" for cat marijuana).

Second product is something I noticed while wandering around Petsmart. I know that if treatment is possible for Luther, there will likely be pills to be administered. I have ZERO confidence that I will be able to get him to take a pill, but I am hoping that these "Pill Pockets" might work. He loves treats, and if I can sneak one of these into the pile of treats I have been giving him late at night, I might actually be able to get medicine into him! It's worth a try, anyway.

We have tried them with success. That is until Emm got wise and spit out the pill and ate the pocket. Kate has a method o will get her to tell me what is involved.

If the Greenies don't work let us know - my friend had a senior kitty who had daily pills and used a different pocket - I'd have to ask him.

Also I've used the Feliway diffuser - I thought it was nuts - but my cat group kept saying it could help. And it did. I've got my Rainey out of the bedroom and into the living room! (Yay).
