And speaking of polydactyls, if you find yourself in Key West, make sure you visit the Hemingway house - all the cats there are polydactyls! It's so wonderful!

I am currently watching a series on Netflix, "The Nine Months That Made You". In the first episode there is video of a family with 22 members, 14 of which have SIX fingers! Within growth of the embryo, the sixth digit develops in the first few weeks. Is it that we humans are part of the taxonomic family of mammals, or is it that our domesticated friends have developed human characteristics?
