My cats have their own tables. Cats enjoy height so, that they have. They are so great that they never break the rules. No cats near food prep areas. I can leave food out & they won't take it off the counter. Tho I don't tempt them. But they know that if they ask I will give them some. So they ask. They learned it on their own trying to please me perhaps. They do just by being in my life. I have floor to ceiling windows so they never have to climb up to look out. Adapt to one's cats & they adapt to one. Zoot Suit, a tuxedo dooood brings me live prey. That is how the chipmunks get into the house. He is permitted the outdoors as he has a plethora of bells, & electric orange hazard tape on his collar, is neutered so he is not reproducing & I have 4 acres so he is not annoying the neighbors. In a rural setting people shoot cats. Even tried to enact a cat hunting season here in Wisconsin. I won't elaborate on those types as we already know who they are. Territory is usually 5 acres or so. His broken leg healed on its own & in 5 weeks he was walking on it. Took me 6 months. Alligators heal in days.
