So, the girl cat came and settled on my lap in between me and the keyboard . Due to a lip on the table, I cant' scoot in And I can't read the screen so well, because I am partially blind and cant' move closer.... What to do...

She's done it again today. She did this before over a yer ago. i wonder if it will become a regular thing again.
Another example of cat paralysis.
You're cat has you wrapped around her little furry toes - and that's okay. It's the proper feline/human interaction.
My Rainey put a hole in my forehead today because she was standing on it when my alarm went off and she deployed her claws! (It was fine until that moment - she doesn't normally deploy them - she was startled).
Yes we had a talk - and I'm pretty sure she's still going to use my forehead to reach the painting above the bed and rattle the frame. (sigh).
