Three of us once got stopped a block away from the vet because our vehicle and driver matched an APB for a murderer. Yes, there was yelling and guns were drawn. We and the cat were confused and terrified. Fortunately, the officers let me continue to the vet on foot once they realized it was an emergency visit.
