I had a cat just like that named Lily. When I got her she was owned by a woman who never let her inside so she slept in a tree like a koala bear. When I brought her home and when it got dark she went from the garden and climbed up a tree to go to sleep. I told her to come down and she scooched down meowing and chirping to me and ran inside so excited. It still breaks my heart 20 years later.

So glad you rescued her. I never let my guys out. They are inside cats. I had one go out in the morning and never come back. Broke my heart.
@IAmLove I keep my kitties indoors as well, it is just safer.
Oh! That's terrible. I'm so glad you got her and what a great memory.
@HippieChick58 My last three cats have been indoor only and the peace of mind is incredible.
