Hi just got a beautiful cat at the Mohawk-Hudson Animal Shelter in Albany, NY Today. She was a stray who was supposed to be 12 years old-a Black Tuxedo Cat named Mrs. Boots. When we looked at her folder she was 1-5 years old. We have a great vet across the street from us so we'll find out for sure in 2 weeks. Meanwhile she is so comfortable with Dan and me. Not skittish for a new cat and has been lying on the couch with me all night.
Presenting Lady Boots
beautiful, beautiful, tux cat. Boring name though how many cats with white feet are named Boots or Mittens. Lol. She looks young to me.
Haha. My tuxedo with white feet is named Mittens.
@Booklover Mittens was feral. Her feral mom we called Frosty because it was a cold frosty day when we first saw her. Then I found a kitten in the dog house dying of cold, so we took him in. I called him Popsicle. Then we found Frosty had two other kittens and we called them Mittens and Muffs. We managed to trap the kittens but never got the mom; she disappeared. Popsicle and Muffs were adopted by friends. No one was interested in the mostly black cat, so we kept Mittens.
