So, I started a new job 2 1/2 weeks ago and I'm working longer hours than Bug is used to. He has been visibly depressed . . . and he started attacking me at the door when I try to leave. I just ordered him a larger kitty condo. It arrived yesterday and he loves it. I've also bought him a tunnel and some kind of motorized toy, both of which he loves. He didn't try to bite me this morning when I left for work. Success!

So glad to hear your cat likes it. Everyday when I leave from home, I talk to my cat and let her know that I am going to work to make money to buy her food, cat treats, and litter. I tell her to go to sleep and I will wake her up when I come home. She usually greets me screaming at the door and puts herself down and rolls around on the floor inviting me to pet her. So nice! She seems to know that I go away, and then I come back. Life is good.

@orange_girl Oh wow! I had a cat who was like that. He made life hell for my other tiny cat. I was actually relieved when he died of cancer. The house and her safety were back intact. We didn’t have the connection you have with Bug. So it was okay.
@orange_girl Looking back I wish I had kept them separated. Life would’ve been better for the tiny cat and I wouldn’t feel guilty in retrospect.
