The cats abandoned me. I took a five day trip to ocean City on the Olympic Peninsula (WA), and when I came back the cats no longer got in my lap, or slept with me at night. They have gravitated over to my sister and nephew... then again the cats do belong to them... still, now the only time they come to me is to tell me they want to be let in or out. I am just the door man to them and nothing more.... sigh.
I've been back about a week and a half and they don't seem to be warming back up to me.
Now you must grovel until they feel you sincerely regret abandoning them! Or just break out the catnip, treats, and fun cat toys.
You must be punished for leaving them.

Posted by LaurenIt's my first grand's fifth Gotcha Day and this is her in the arms of my daughter as they drove home.
Posted by LaurenIt would be warmer for us both if he'd get on my lap, but it has to be his idea - though he still likes to stay close.
