@Wurlitzer Those giant ones just taste like watery yuck and cook up slimy. I hated Zukes for years because I never got to taste one that was still small and flavorful!

@Hathacat What if you roast them with Parmesan cheese?

@Sydland No bigger around than a quarter. I will go to a fifty cent piece if I am doing certain things. Those boats that guy has might be ok for the bread, but you will have to wring them out. . And the cheese will be floating...

@Sydland The small ones breaded with panko a parmesan and fried are wonderful! By fried, I mean some olive oil and you keep flipping till brown. I have never fried a thing in my life, lol!

@Hathacat what if you shredded it up and used it like spaghetti squash? Last example of this I saw Ive been wanting to try is 0 carb pizza bites: shredded squash in a muffin pan, spread sauce cheese n mini pepperoni over it n bake. Looked delicious.

I know zucchinis texture isnt gonna naturally shred with a fork like that but maybe if you shred it in a food processor it could serve a similar role as a base for somethin baked? Or would it just be a gooey mess even after bakin? I guess theyre overripe. Thankfully never had to work with em that size

@Wurlitzer I have done this. Use a cheese grater. Very easy. If small, you might not have to let drain on a paper towel. I wouldn't try with the ones in the picture. Fifty cent piece size might be too big too. Firm feeling is good for this.
