Iām sure a lot of people have already seen this photo, but i wanted to post it as a reminder of the connection between animals and humans. We have a responsibility to them just as we do to people, and with all the horrors these firefighters see while battling these fires, this is a reminder of their kindness and sacrifice. Saving this cat probably gave this firefighter a little more strength to continue doing what he does best - rushing into danger while everyone else rushes out. They are true heroes.
Many thanks to the firefighters, Red Cross, volunteers, medical staff, & animal rescuers, for helping during these terrible disasters.
