@Lilac-Jade Oh I know. My parents bought our house for a little over $200,000 in the early 80s. Now, it's in a bit of disrepair and may be sold for property value only for $1.25 million. Would be much more if the house is repaired. Ummmm, aaahhhhhh, whhhaaattttt?

We bought here for $63,000, 30 years ago, Now its worth $300,000!!!! Mind you, we reno-ed the whole place inside & out.
@Lilac-Jade On my current property of 17.5 acres, we can build numerous houses and tiny houses. I don't need a shack for $2 million in Vancouver.
@graceylou No, not for us. We like our space around us. We're on a city lot, but the homes aren't crammed here & we can actually do things without the neighbours knowing our every move.
@Lilac-Jade We are on rural farmland and there's hardly anyone else around. My neighbours are cows.
@graceylou Nice, but with our health, & mobility issues, we need to be scooter friendly, & close to medical help.
Should have known it had something to do with cats! Getting humans to live in tiny homes may be part of the quest for kitty world domination..
