In the category of "never been fed" cats, I dropped a gumdrop on the floor. Before I could bend to pick it up, my ankles were surrounded by 7 cats circling and meowing piteously. Heartless, unfeeling creature that I am, I made them wait about 60 seconds for some Temptations. Apparently, I'm a sucker for a good story.

I'm old and move slowly, but there is no excuse.
One wants to take their time as one does not want to let the cats have control over everything.
