When i was married I had one cat who would always lie. He worked earlier shift so i woke up later to a a crying cat in face and i fed her. One night i asked him since you are up earlier than can you feed them before you leave becauae Micki is waking me up. He had been doing that all along...she lied.

Yes, we have a boy cat named Jango, who lies all the time. I watch him beign fed, and about twenty minutes later he tries to tell me how he is starving.
We've been cat people all our lives, so we know how they are. We just have once person who feeds them (we have two cats). Still Hango has gradually been gaining weight somehow....
