I really feel that I must have a cat. I can't imagine living without a feline companion. Does anyone else feel that a cat is a necessity?

I would like to have a cat but financially I couldn't be a good pet parent at this time. So I just love on family and friends pets.

When I moved across the country five years ago, I had to leave my sweet boy Graysee behind (with a trusted friend). It only took a few months before I had two sister rescues in my new home. It's almost like it's an addiction.

I grew up with more cats then dogs. Since I left home, I've always had cats. Right now, I have one of my two on my lap, nice warmth !

No. Dogs, yes. Cats, no. But I probably have more cats than anyone here.

@Elusia8 I have 15. Or should I say I’m slave to 15 cats.

Had a dog until 18. Always liked cats. Temporarily adopted a stray that later found its owner. Adopted a pound foundling and have had cats for 52 years.

Absolutely! I've had cats since I was 3.

I have lived with cats in my home for more than seventy years now. Once there were seven, now only one. I cannot imagine not being with a feline at home. I've had dogs too, I love them but they are not tuned to me like felines are.

I will never voluntarily live without a cat again. Maybe for a few weeks, but no longer. My heart cat died in November 2016. My Son In Law was doing some work on my house so I delayed getting a new cat until that was done. Xena came home in February 2017. Zelda came home in January 2018. I think we're complete....

Yes! 'A house is not home without a cat and books' I think Twain said that?

RavenCT Level 9 Feb 5, 2019

Twain was a cat person. Another reason I admire this man. He was a Thinker in a most repressive era.

They are part of me now.

Posted by Dave375Look at this beautiful cat. Only thing that's keeping me sane. I get unlimited attention whether I desire it or not.
