This could be a picture of our Jack.

Say hi to Jack. I'm kinda partial to black cats.
@GinaKay Me too, there was a neighbor hood cat that wandered around and would come into our home whenever the door was open. Eventually his owners moved and took him with, they found that he did not like the new place and so they brought him back to us and the neighborhood. We cared for him from that time forward, he was my cat. He would sit on the back of an overstuffed chair and lick my head. Eventually he would sleep with me and keep me company while typing, he somehow understood to keep off the keyboard, but then I did give him his place next to me. I forgot to say that Toad was a black cat. Called Toad because we did not correctly hear that his name before us was Tudy.

Oh, that's so sweet! My very first cat, Murphy, was black, and she also chose me. She was really young and I have no idea where she came from. Jack and Toad were lucky to find you. ?

Posted by LaurenIt's my first grand's fifth Gotcha Day and this is her in the arms of my daughter as they drove home.
Posted by LaurenIt would be warmer for us both if he'd get on my lap, but it has to be his idea - though he still likes to stay close.
