I thought the same thing a couple of years ago when I bought my Stella and Gracie something similar that was even heated! They would not go in it for anything, so I put it away after about a month. I would bring it out every once in a while, and after two YEARS, they finally decided it was ok. Now they fight over it, even though I bought an extra large one so they could share! lol

My cats tend not to like the enclosed bed although sometimes they would get into it. May be just give it some time. May be put a treat in it. What annoys me is when they get on top of this type of bed and squish it down flat. Then it becomes a bed they like. But you'd never get it back to the original shape.
