I've had the most unique and wonderful cats share their lives with me. Not one personality like any other. I love to just go to the shelter cat rooms and spend a couple hours petting and holding the attention seekers in the group that bless me with their interest

It's so great for the shelter/rescue cats to be able to mingle and socialize with people even if the people aren't there to adopt. They've been very successful with adoptions through the cat cafes and they often run out of cats. I don't know why I go because I have my own gang of cats at home and I can drink plain coffee just as well at home (they don't have non-dairy options for fancy coffees) but heck I'd still go.
