Had to put my childhood cat down. He lived a long life but lymphoma got to him. Still sad he is gone.

I'm sorry for your loss.
Some of my best friends have four legs. And we remember them long after they are gone.
They tend to cause us much happiness and little grief (except for when they leave) while they are here.
You should post a picture or two.

Yeah really going to miss him but he lived a good life. Chasing strings, playing with the dog and sleeping on my chest. Just going to remember the good times with him.
Sorry to learn your misfortune. I had to do the same with my old 22 yo. last week. All being well I go off to bury her tomorrow.
