On the opposite side of the coin, I once had a neighbor cat that was smart enough to go hide behind a tree when people bothered him outside.
My ex had a cat, Alex, that was so dumb...
How dumb was he?
Well, let me tell you. When he would hide, he would stick his head under a table. The rest of his body was clearly visible to the room.
If you think that is dumb, he once sat facing a corner and meowed.
Why did he meow?
Because he was lost and couldn’t figure out how to get out of the corner.
These are true stories and the names of the innocent have been changed...

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
