Mine don't do that. Instead, they jump onto my sleeping self from some corner of the room, wake up the dogs and play tag up and down the stairs.

I have one cat who jumps right in the middle of me when i’m asleep. It jars me awake and he is gone so quickly. I suppose he thinks i’ll Get mad but I just go back to sleep.
