She makes a better hiking buddy than the dogs now! She stays with me the whole time. What a shift after being a complete indoor kitty for her first year. She even plays fetch, doesn't mind the rain, and growls at the UPS driver! Anyone else have a doglike cat?

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.We have one.....when she was younger, she would sit up and beg just like a dog does (for cheese) and would make a sound that -- I swear -- sounded like a bark. Another one (tabby) was an outdoor cat and would walk thru the woods with my husband - just like a dog would.

That's exactly how Ellie started fetching, as a kitten with those little glitter puff balls. So cute!
I've had a couple who have acted quite pup like.
