@RavenCT recently posted the following clip. I'm still making my mind up about it so let's read your opinions:
I watched this video years ago. I think they added to it, as no duct tape had been applied to any kittehs in the first version. Also, if you know any engineers... this is spot-on engineer expression.
In their defense the cats enjoy the interaction. Also these guys help promote shelter kitties.
See this the main channel:
Everyone wants to marry Paul! Yes he's single, And he has cats.
It probably helps to know how engineers behave. rofl

A wee problem of a blackish screen viewed from Australia. ?
@FrayedBear No idea why it won't link so basically go to youtube and input: "klusmanp channel".
Way too much time on their hands and a trio of VERY tolerant cats. Mildly humorous and a little annoying, in my view. So I guess it achieved its goals. However, in my experience, more dramatic yodeling occurs when you (mistakenly, of course) apply significant pressure to one of the cat's extremities. That's not a strategy for long-term success, obviously.
I'm curious as to why at one point there is enormous protection against being clawed and then there is nothing. Are the shots out of sequence that someone was badly scratched or were the cats declawed?
@SACatWalker Why the drama at the beginning with padded feet and protective goggles?
I think they did that at the start before the cats got somewhat accustomed to it, then were able to remove them. I thought it was funny as hell!
@SACatWalker I don't think they were operating from the "cats are dangerous" view. These were engineers describing cat manipulation, and every wise engineer knows that safety equipment is always desirable! I thought it was funny; for the most part, the cats looked as though they were saying, "Oh, gawd, here we go again. I love the snuggles but the smooches are just too much."
@SACatWalker Like laughing at a person crossing Broadway in rush hour carrying a suitcase that bursts open and spills the contents on the road type of funny?
@FrayedBear No, more a dowager that spills peas down her cleavage at a fancy dinner party! Cats need a little "humbling" now & then, otherwise they would reinstate their divinity & have us worshipping them all over!
@phxbillcee Cats could not give a rat's arse for their divinity ... Isn't it the obsequious subservient behaviour to them that impressed and has not been forgotten?

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
