Yes, there is a missing ear, Munequita, or just "Quita" adopted us outside a Mexican Restaurant in Detroit. She'd had some though time and at least one litter of kittens. The vet estimated she was about 1 1/2 to 2 years old, and we had her for 21 years. They make 'em tough in Detroit. Observing her at home it was obvious she had learned some survival tricks, like putting her tongue in a faucet to check for water, and her preference to drink from a dripping faucet. She loved refried beans.
My condolences. I had one similar to her in coloring, Ewok. I had the privilege of being owned by her for 18yr.
She looks a toughy. Makes me visualise her as the cat that taught Paul Gallico's "Jenny".

Posted by LaurenIt's my first grand's fifth Gotcha Day and this is her in the arms of my daughter as they drove home.
Posted by LaurenIt would be warmer for us both if he'd get on my lap, but it has to be his idea - though he still likes to stay close.
