I found Ferris mousing in a field next to the radio station, He came right to me. He had a broken jaw that had healed, but displaced to one side, so his tongue hung out much of the time. Didn't bother him. He became an indoor cat, but if he got out, and into the field it was usually less than 10 minutes to a successful hunt! He was a great mouser.
