Cats seem to come with one firmware.
Short legged cats being short legged their whole life would adjust one would think, but they seem to think their reach is further then it is.
Then the tail must have a coprocessor due to the number of cats I've seen go into kill mode over random twitches of tail, and I've seen them surprised it hurts when they bite it. To a lesser degree the back legs sometimes become independent from the cats central nervous system in a way similar to the way the tail does, because I've seen cats try to bite their back legs only to kick/scratch hell out of their own face as if the back legs are independent and ready to civil war with the rest of the same cat.
