BTW I use to live in Capitol Hill area. One of my favorite areas of Seattle.

The reason I have not unfriended a person I like but who is REALLY trying what I can accept in a friend is because of the absolute crap she posts about what is happening in Seattle.
She claims she does not watch fox, oann, etc. BUT her posts or reposts are ALL from those networks via people on her friends list who do watch all the really far right batshit crazy stuff.
The only time I comment is when I can reply with facts. Otherwise I'll read a bit and then hide the post. I use it as a way to keep up with what the right is seeing.
Her reposts condemn or laugh at the whole thing going on in Seattle. There are many calls for eastern WA to split from western WA. Which is REALLY a show of how ignorant these people are - most pf WA is pretty conservative it is the huge metro area from Tacoma north to about Lynnwood and east to about Issaquah that is mostly liberal, progressive. Seattle is bordered by Puget Sound on the west and is between Tacoma and Lynnwood. A densely populated and does sorta control the vote. It is the lack of willingness to really sit down and talk that is most frustrating.
It will be interesting to see how this goes.
