I watched this last night and it left me sleepless.
I just watched the video again, and read this article. WTF?!?!?
In_part:
“If there is anything in y'all's luggage, we’re probably gonna find it," the deputy said in the video. "If there is something in there that is questionable, please tell me now because if we find it -- guess what? We’re not gonna be able to help you. We are in the state of Georgia. Marijuana is still illegal in the state of Georgia."
Now why would they think Marijuana....hmmmm.....
Yeah. Black kids.
I found more context. Not only did these cops lie to their Sheriff, they profiled these girls. Their body cam footage was on and ours been released. So maybe someone at the Federal level will STOP the madness in Georgia.
