Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.It is hard to say anything good about the communist Chinese, especially under Mao. That said, Tibet was pretty much a three tiered system: some rich/and monks; a few merchants, free people; serfs, or slaves.
One could look at Cuba and the first Cuban refugees from 1959. They were the upper and middle classes with ties to the crooked Bautista regime - which is why Castro succeeded in becoming so popular there.
