Brits on the street on 'mercan healthcare . What an eye opener. [facebook.com]
Yup most of European countries don't have the problems we have
Or Canada. I have a friend who went to the doc in Toronto after a cough that didn't ghb o away for a few weeks. They found leukemia... had him at the cancer hospital starting chemo that afternoon. In my state it takes 3- 6 months to get in to see any kind of specialist, and that's IF the insurance company allows it. Then of course there's the cost which is just adding insult to injury..
I had to be flown for emergency surgery once after a local doc perforated my intestines on a routine scope look see, and got stuck with a $10000 transport bill and I can't even remember how high the surgery and 2 weeks in hospital was, but it probably topped the GNP of a few island nations, that I had to fight for 2 years. Insurance claimed it was an " on the job injury" .... how does that work, doc screws up on the job ???
