I believe it's true in general, politicians never have and never will be concerned about what the common man has to endure. If they can get people to do the same task for less money, why not? Divide and conquer is a tried and tested approach when in power.

Chin up brother our time is coming unless the Imperialist warmongers end human society by nuclear war but I always have hope because the bottom 90%, the working class, are revolutionary by nature.
@Ian-Duggan I'm seeing the rising class consciousness here in the U.S. as well. I just mean that we are still seemingky decades behind France. We have a lot of catching up to do! But we can get there with a little time, a lot of activism, and some solidarity from our friends over seas. ?
