17/08/2018 - Diet Diary - Please feel free to post your daily struggles or successes here.

Worked hard trimming grass then raking up the debris and since it is inside the fence, the other stuff that turns up in the grass when you have dogs. I try to clean the yard at least every other day but this year the grass has grown so fast that cleaning is much harder.

Calorie intake for the day, under 1000, closer to 900 since I forgot the 1/2 container of yogurt with 1/4 c cottage cheese that I meant to eat for dinner. I'm only 0.2 lbs from my initial goal set in June. I hope to reach that by Monday.

Then, Tuesday, start of the 11th week, I will start working toward my next goal. Ran the numbers today and my next goal will be to lose 16 pounds. I'll have just over 13 weeks until Thanksgiving, I hope to reach my goal by then as TG is the beginning of the worst time of year for dieting.

I'm still kicking; I've been busy and got sick and well again. Last week was chaotic. It started with me working on my pc, but I got sidetracked. Our well stopped working, and took two days to diagnose and fix, because my multimeter was erratic. My left foot got infected because of a blister; for a couple of days I was retching but not tossing, which might be why I didn't notice my broken multimeter. Also, a cell phone that I ordered but failed and sent back for another...15 days later it arrived and had exactly the same problem; cancelled. Looking. So, my foot is well. I don't have a cell yet. The water is back on. Although, a pipe broke and we are laying a new line; currently using kludge, a hose instead of water pipe. Next week well have it all fixed, with 70 feet of new PVC. My diet has suffered a bit; I need my PC back and post again regularly. May need a new PC. I'm using my wife's atm. Bye for now, I shall return because I miss everyone.

When I get to under a half-pound from a goal, I skip a meal or so, or have a bowl of sugarless Jello, or gelatin with lime juice and Stevia.

I've done some of those 600-750 calorie days when I'm frustrated by a clingy pound or just want a boost. This time I'm not that excited, I guess. Cool to be this close to a goal but I figure I'll hit it this weekend. If not, Monday may be a lean pickin's day.

Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
