27/09/2018 - Diet Diary- For anyone to share their diet day in a comment below.
Sometimes I'm late to make these, so please feel free to do so yourself. Just copy this preamble and change the date.
Short night, long day. Messed around last night and didn't end up really settled until probably 5 AM. Slept till 11 then had to be up to prepare for exercise class. No nap! Had to prepare for moving the motorcycle back to my driveway/shed. Ended up the guys who were going to be there to help get it on the trailer didn't show but went ahead and cleaned the space, moved stuff so there would be plenty of room to back in the trailer and then mowed. Things (on me) started to stiffen up this evening.
Intake was 1147 calories, output, at least 2800. Ready to go to bed. Have to be up earlier than usual to take neighbor to the doctor. Still have inside chores needing done as company is coming in 3 days. So, of course I spent pretty much the entire day working outside. ?
What kind of bike do you have?
Yesterday was beautiful here, perfect temperature and we have had a lot of rain over the past month, so everything is green and milkweed is flowering. Monarchs have been visiting.
Yesterday morning, Jody, a man who is working for me, showed up with cuttings off pecan, grapefruit, an lemon trees. A cousin of his has the trees, and we tried to air-layer them, but he is a druggie and sold the premature air layered branches for drug money. As a consolation, he brought Jody some "cuttings." I'd seen on youtube people actually getting tree cuttings to root, so I took 7 grapefruit and 8 lemon twigs, cut them at an angle on a thicker node, dipped them in Take Root, and set them in rock wool starter blocks in water, and covered them with plastic milk bottles. I have a pecan in the yard that gives tiny nuts, the branch we got had some nice sized nuts, so I had Jody graft branches on my tree. Maybe we will get some larger nuts. We air-layered three branches on my tree, to get additional root stock, and perhaps I'll be able to take branches from the grafted branches in a couple of years to graft onto my root stock. It would be nice to have some productive pecan trees. I also worked my compost and planted peppermint, rosemary and sage seeds.
When I stopped for the day, I was feeling my age, took some ibuprofen and laid back in my recliner. It felt good.
Posted by OldMetalHeadI hit a new weight milestone this week. Still trying for the six-pack.
Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
