More painting today, more to be done but may have rain tomorrow so I might get a day off, at least from painting. Made a bread pudding tonight. Ate about 2 Tbsp of it, had to taste it, you know. Not exactly "diet" food but I had a package of hot dog buns that were getting well beyond regular eating and I hate to throw out food if is it usable. Besides, I love bread pudding. A "serving" is 255 calories but that is 1/8 of the pan and I generally eat only 1/2 a serving. Much of it will end up in the freezer so I'll have it another time.

Calorie intake for the day was 1128, about where I wanted it after a couple of lower calorie days. Have to watch my fluid intake. Since being outside working on the house for several days, my intake has been down which does not pay off in the diet nor general health. I forget all about it until I realize I haven't taken a "break" for 6 hours. Of course, then the problem is that I try to make up for it by drinking more in the evening so it wakes me up early.

Later: Got sidetracked, (easy for me, ADD person here) so ended up away for 2 hours, making green tomato "faux" fruit jam. VERY easy and I do strawberry which ends up tasting very much like real strawberry jam. This did probably boost my tally up for the day, also past my alloted eating time. Had no more than a teaspoon of the jam however, it turned out as the first time I made it, quite tasty. Some will go to friends, the double recipe only made 5 jelly jars, small batch jam but a great way to use some green tomatoes. Not a big fan of fried green tomatoes. That is it for today, got work to do tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing well.
