24/10/2018 - Diet Diary- For anyone to share their diet day in a comment below.
Sometimes I'm late to make these, so please feel free to do so yourself. Just copy this preamble and change the date.
I am following a keto diet, basically no sugars and carbs are mostly under 30 grams... a day.. and fat.. about 50 to 75 % of my daily calories. I have never felt better in my life..and I don't have hunger, or cravings ( mostly)
My thinking ability..improved, my skin, my hair is in much healthier condition. I can fast easily for 24 hours. Ask me any questions if you would like to know more on this subject.
I have diabetes, which means ketoacidosis can be deadly. I'll keep my plant-based whole-food diet and reduced calorie consumption (<1200/da). Though, hunger is uncommon; occasionally it hits me, especially when my calories are well below 1200.
Took a day off today, grey, overcast day, rain expected so didn't want to paint. Raining tonight and likely to also be off outdoor work tomorrow. Calorie intake was 1249 today, right at my limit. Had some of my green tomato jam on a biscuit this morning. It was really good after being chilled. Nothing important to share tonight, guess I'll go to bed and read for a while. GN!
Calorie Goal 1200
Exercise 10 sets of 100 curls & 30 pushes w/ 3lb dumbbells.
Breakfast:
1/3 c uncooked oatmeal 100
1/4 c walnuts 200
Lunch:
1 c vegetable stew 100
crackers 130
1 tbsp parmesan 50
Dinner:
Spaghetti 300
dark chocolate 200
Exercise:
10 sets of 100 curls & 30 pushes
