27/10/2018 - Diet Diary- For anyone to share their diet day in a comment below.
Sometimes I'm late to make these, so please feel free to do so yourself. Just copy this preamble and change the date.
Another day painting, about 4.5 hours this time. When I woke this morning, before I got up, I laid in bed thinking "I might not be able to stand up". My feet didn't exactly hurt but hey felt "odd", like if I put pressure on them it was going to hurt. Ended up pondering on that for about 30 minutes as I snuggled my pup (13 years old) but then she got tired of it and jumped off the bed so I got up. Didn't hurt at all when I stood up.
On the other hand... my hands are off and on asleep or freezing. Did a little research and learned the Raynaud syndrome can be tied to carpal tunnel (I have some) and use of tools that have heavy vibration. Gee, do you suppose hand sanders qualify? So, today I tried something different when I came in from the painting/sanding spree. I took a warm shower right away and then made sure to avoid anything that could chill my hands and I did not have a major RS episode although I was on the way to one when I came into the house and by the time I got in the shower I had to hold my hands under the warm water for a couple minutes to counter the chill.
Went ahead and ate to 1105 calories today. Conscious decision. Was under 1000 (just) then decided I wanted an evening "snack" so had 1/24 of a pumpkin pudding pie I made (my own recipe, not a traditional pumpkin pie) with 1 Tbsp of light whipped topping. It was enough, along with the rest of my cup of coffee that I hadn't finished this morning, to satisfy the craving. It was time to stop eating then anyway so that worked out.
Today was busy, with my opossum rescue and other things. Again, I forgot to take my morning meds, and measure my glucose. I'll start posting my glucose here, to help me not forget.
Glucose 126 (should be 100), but 126 is pretty good considering no diabetes med and eating. I am concerned when it is 140 and over. Though, doctors have said they see people regularly with 400, which is scary to me. I took my meds about 1 pm. It's now midnight, so time to take evening meds.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.
Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
