I truly understand your feeling, @EdEarl. Yesterday was another of the lost track late in the day, eating way more of those holiday treats than I intended. I did get my holiday boxes put together and distributed today except for the paper carrier's. Still have plenty left but will take some to senior center when I go to exercise then the rest will be packaged and stashed in the freezer. My "willpower" increases significantly once things go down to the freezer.

Today went some better, under 1300 calories but I've been doing good day, bad day for a week. Days that I don't show up to post, you can safely assume that I lost track so don't have a number to post. This is really a hard time of year to be dieting. That is why I planned on switching to maintenance for the duration. After last year, I knew it would be a challenge just to avoid regaining through the holidays and it is indeed proving to be one.

Just hang in there folks, the massive sugar season will be over before long. Hold your own the best you can. If you can, follow a particularly gluttonous day with a controlled day, it does help. Most importantly, don't let it discourage you.
