11 Jan 2019 - Diet Diary
For anyone to share their diet day in a comment below.
Sometimes I'm late to make these, so please feel free to do so yourself. Just copy this preamble and change the date.
Well, today went better, intake was under 1200 so not too bad. Unfortunately, the salt intake was twice the RDA, mostly due to the soup I made last night, using prepared broth powder. I could tell when I ate it that there was more salt than there should be. I'm going to add more water tomorrow, it is a rather thick soup anyway and perhaps that will dilute the salt a bit. Can't say whether the salt is a significant factor anyway. A friend who is an RN said salt is not nearly as problematic as they used to think, unless you are suffering heart failure. It didn't seem to matter on the days when I kept it under the RDA.
Snowing here, governor declared emergency for this part of the state in anticipation of the storm that was coming. My pine tree is drooping SEVERELY as the wet, dense snow is sticking to it in layers. Good thing I didn't make any big plans for the weekend. Need to stay home with my "baby" anyway. She had seizures today, under 3 weeks since the last ones. Don't like to leave her alone when she has had one as it is common for her to have at least one more. It has been almost 9 hours since the last one. If we make it 12 hours, it is probably over for now. Poor baby!

Posted by OldMetalHeadI hit a new weight milestone this week. Still trying for the six-pack.
Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.
Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
