1 Feb 2019 - DIet Diary - OK, officially February. I'm thinking perhaps if I throw myself, wholeheartedly, into the many, many projects I have on my "to do" list, it would distract my mind from the day to day stresses that aggravate me and may contribute to some BP issues. Just keeping me from spending too much time reading news on the internet would surely go a long way in this effort.

Intake was under 1300 today but salt was close to 2800, that turkey casserole has a hefty dose of sodium in a serving. Currently struggling with hydration. I don't think about getting a drink of water for much of the day. Have a LARGE cup of coffee in the morning, another (decaf) many evenings when it is cold. Then late afternoon it usually occurs to me that I have had to make a bathroom stop for 4-6 hours so maybe need to hydrate some.

End up trying to work in drinking my 8 cups of water in the late afternoon until bedtime. Dehydration can also contribute to BP problems so I know I should be watching that liquid intake more closely. Need to get the BIG cup (That would be a 64 oz. insulated cup) out again, start filling it first thing in the morning and keep it close at hand through the day. These days I'm feeling a bit like I'm being "freeze dried". Going through lots of lotions, lip balm and saline nasal spray and filling the humidifiers (2) daily. Still feeling crispy.
Late night chill setting in, off to electric blanket land.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
