25 April 2019 - Diet Diary - Better day, eating wise. Currently at 980 but may have 1/2 oz of peanuts yet. That will put me at 1065 for the day. Too tired tonight to do much more, falling asleep at the computer. Stayed up too late last night then up early because there was a little thunder shower and I had left the door outside after putting poly-stain on it. Went out and rescued it then went back to bed, hoping to get a little more sleep but my little dog had a seizure. That pretty much put an end to sleeping. Think I will head off to bed now.
I took (your?) advice and cut down the "muscle brownie" to a one-inch cube - and I'm down to 144.8! I also made a smaller dinner portion of beans, mushrooms, tomato sauce and a small amount of pasta.
Havent been that low in years! Thanks.
Good job! See if it continues to work over the next few days. It isn't hard to get a bounce in weight from a number of sources. That is the down side of weighing daily, the ups and downs can be frustrating. On the other hand, the ups can pile up real quickly if you aren't paying attention so I will stick with dealing with the frustrations.
I had a 4 pound bounce yesterday, that is distressing when it happens but then I considered that the day before I had potato chips, just a 1 oz serving and also a serving of Gardettos mix plus other foods containing salt. That high intake of salt is something I react to quickly. Today I was back down by 3.4 pounds. I know, logically that you cannot gain 4 pounds in 24 hours nor lose 3.4, unless other factors besides calories are involved, just hate seeing it on the scales.
If you ever want help tracking calories in something or to check what your "average" intake is, let me know. I can run it through the tracker I use and give you numbers.
Well done. Portion size is vital. It is do easy for it to creep up without you noticing and then frustration sets in and you eat more and the cycle starts again. Keep tracking the calories accurately and it will work!
Sorry about your dog's problems. I hope things are going better today.
Running better now. She only had one and the vet gave a second med to add to what she has been taking to hopefully limit the breakthrough seizures. She is 12 years old so should have some good years ahead yet but would sure like to limit the seizures.
Posted by OldMetalHeadI hit a new weight milestone this week. Still trying for the six-pack.
Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.
Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
