12 May 2019 - Diet Diary - Almost bedtime so have to keep it short. Nice day, got my garden plants in the ground although I may get another tomato. I have some kale sprouts coming up, thought the seeds were all a bust but a few are germinating. Need to dig up some clusters of garlic that are crowding into my asparagus patch. Have more garlic than I can possibly use. Good thing I like garlic.
I was less than right about the weight bounce yesterday. It was all the way back down today, hydration is essential. By my accounting I finished the day right around 1000 calories. Kept busy much of the day, despite having a real spastic pain in my back/hip which I'm currently thinking is arthritis. If it continues I'll check with the dr. but it is too high and to the side for me to think it is "internal" stuff. Also, hurts (a lot) depending on how I move rather than all the time. I have significant arthritis anyway so this would just be a more significant joint than is usually involved.
Sorry for your "arthriits" - we all feel pain just moving and bending as we get older...it comes with the territory. I prefer advil to tylenol....avoid the prescription strengths if you can.
And plenty of garlic? Time for a garlic sauce. Time to share those cloves with neighbors...
I went up a few pounds this weekend...but the lady-friend and I ate out twice. We tried....split portions, little.no bread. Salad with fish, no croutons...but still gained a bit...oh well...back to fasting this week!
Hey, it happens and if you can't ever have a little fun, what is the use of it all? This week will go better.
The hip pain is worth checking with the doctor as it might be an inflammation rather than full scale arthritis. Good calorie count!
It seems to be much better today. I may have strained it, although I don't recall doing anything that would have. Have not had any problems with it today. Happy if it isn't arthritis because that always repeats itself in time.
Posted by OldMetalHeadI hit a new weight milestone this week. Still trying for the six-pack.
Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.
Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
