5 July 2019 - Diet Diary - Industrious day, dug choke cherry suckers, which are attempting to take over the side yard. A single, nice tree/bush is one thing but an entire hedge is not OK. Also weeded the church parking lot, next to my fence. If I don't remove the weeds, crazy old coot with a Round-up sprayer will make sure every errant grass blade is coated. This is closer to my garden spaces than I like. Hoping to keep his spraying limited this year.

Had my pan of greens with bacon (see prior post) for supper and it was delicious. When I looked at the bowl of chopped ingredients (less the bacon) I thought there was no way I would be able to eat all of it in a meal but didn't want to try keeping the greens fresh until Monday when I could cook them. FIgured they would be OK microwaved for a day or two so I put a third slice of bacon in. It is astounding how far a bunch of greens can cook down. Went from a 11.5" bowl, 4" deep, within an inch of full to a serving on an 8" plate.

Presently sitting at 933 calories and don't anticipate eating anything significant before bed. Have to get to bed earlier than usual tonight since I'm planning to travel tomorrow so will want to be up earlier. This should be my last post tonight. Still need to set up meds for the week as I will need to take some before leaving tomorrow. I am NEVER organized in the AM so the less I leave until then to sort out, the better.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
