Certainly not a good couple of weeks for me. I am stressed out at work and frustrated with myself. I cannot seem to get focused. I don't seem to get enough sleep and I am always tired. I have gained 2 more pounds! now at 287!!!! I have a follow up with my Physician to see whats going on with my body. I am hoping to get back on track soon. Thanks for you guys support. really means alot trust me 🙂

Even at our best times we still have ups and downs, and each bad cycle finishes. Hope you are able to just ride it out. Sleep is important, I get a good sleep by reading an hour or so, I have found when I am out of books, I have terrible trouble sleeping. Work is the pits, lets be honest, the only reason we do it is for the pay.
Had a young friend over last night for a few hours, is sleeping 3 hours a night, so thin, has 3 days off a year of which today is one. Has a baby due this coming Sunday. All I could suggest was vitamins and try and plan more time off. Re the weight, the body plateaus, it gets used to the change in diet, less calories and becomes more efficient, same with exercise, it can do more without burning up as much. Strangely in many ways it is a good thing, means you are getting fitter, more healthy. Hang in there man, I am slow with age and injuries, but am off on a 5 klm beach walk soon. We will get there.

I hope you can fix the work environment. All the doc can do is give you some pills... you need to fix what's wrong that the pills won't fix. And fill your fridge and pantry with low-calorie foods. NOT artificially low-calories, but NATURALLY low-calorie, like veggies that have no other ingredients... like right from the farm. When I get that way and feel the need for a big meal I go for broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, salad stuff with NO creamy high-calorie dressings. Use spices... (Mrs Dash no-salt), knock the sugar and oils out of your foods, don't touch "fast food". Paying close attention to what you eat may help improve the rest of your issues. Did for me. Yes, really.

@twshield Don't buy "food" at work! Take it from home whenever possible. Many fruits come in their own organic containers. I like to take bananas and tangerines with me when out and around. I do that when traveling, too. If with people going to a restaurant I always order a salad without any hi-cal additions.
