I see many people joining this group on a weekly or daily basis but very few posts.. So my question is, what do you expect in this group? What topics or answers are you looking for?

I’m already surrounded by ignorance in every day life, I’d rather support someone who is going through a rough time or post positive feedback!

That's bullshit!
Think I joined from curiosity, to find out what are free thinkers. Of course, we are all free to think about anything, but rarely have a unique thought that's worth sharing, and avoid writing about my delusions (e.g., Will Trump commit suicide by covid or by Big Mac?).
I don't have any expectations about what should be discussed herein. I mostly post links on the main page. What makes this group different from the main page?

As host of this and a few other groups I often wonder why so many people join but never post anything...or rarely comment on other people’s posts either.

Well it's new to me. I don't really know what a free thinker is. Can you explain?
@gracielufreebush A freethinker is someone who forms their own ideas and opinions and doesn’t accept or blindly follow the views of others, especially in religion, preferring to use reason, not dogma or doctrine. Not following the perceived orthodoxy in anything, unless there is reason or evidence , not just religion. Not being one of the herd, but thinking for oneself.
