We do not have to 'wait'--- till 2024! Global warning is already here. I was watching the US weather and large parts of the US has no snow. The temp. is well above freezing in the "Great Frozen North" as well- there has been no snow and this is the end of December. It is the new future. Wait till there is no food grown in the 'desert' or under flood waters- that should be interesting.

The change of seasons leaves too many skeptics - who are also getting wealthy from fossil fuel investments.

Consider the use of materials and and the energy used to manufacture something! The morons with their pickup trucks get the big tires that are outside the fenders and then they have the thing jacked up. The side of their own vehicle is a dirty mess and how are they going to throw gravel around if their tires are inside fenders??? Add tires that are 6 inches in diameter larger and that is only a 3 inch increase in ground clearance. Any increase in height raises the center of gravity. Their truck rolls over easier! WHY???

I'm in my late 70's...not much more to go.
But if we want to have a brighter future -we need to get the attention of more folk than just "morons with their Pickup trucks"
In august seawater temps were 101. 1 degrees in the florida keys....

and yet now Florida is on a cool stretch, what does seem cooler than usual this time of year. But that is the story, unusual extremes. Colder than usual, or hotter.
@Switchcraft Look what's happening to the Florida Keys Coral reefs.
Dive businesses are going under because there's nothing to see but death and destruction.
The fish are abandoning the reefs...and dying out as well.
The reefs are dying...fast. and all fingers point to global warming/more people/more fossil fuels and CO2 in the atmosphere.
Is Florida going through a cool stretch?
No doubt.
But it is caused by global warming shutting off the Gulf Stream...which in turn controls Arctic flow southwards.
