Does everyone in this group belong to the FFRF? If not, why not?
Actually, I envy the religionists. Not a worry in their head. God is in charge. If it happened, it is God's will. God works in mysterious ways. It will all work out for the best. God says so. I think. God, ain't that what you said? See! There! God said it and that makes it so. Which God? The Christian God of course. Jesus's father. Don't you love Jesus? I love Jesus. Ever since I was two or three years old. Just, I didn't like sitting still and being quiet in Church.
My earliest memory is one of running up and down the pew in Church. Mama got ahold of me and sat me down next to her. Then she told me that I must be quiet and listen to the preacher. Safe to say, I didn't like church much at that point.
But, I was an obedient child and I did as I was told to do. So, then my attention turned inward. Next thing that I notice, I look down and my little benis is sticking straight up. So I started giving that some attention. But, obviously, that wasn't allowed either, as Mama got ahold of both my arms and physically restrained me. Yeow!
Which conflict is what affixed this memory in my mind. While, the usual flits through our consciousness and disappears into the past, wherein there is conflict and disagreement, it becomes fixed in our mind that we might mull it over and learn from it.
I’m not American.....perhaps if. I was I might,
