For me I would want someone who is outgoing which would force me to be more outgoing

I think introvert pairings can work well. Introverts still want connections and can support each other in getting out and about.

I think it's presumptuous that introverts don't socialize at all. I think they just have a smaller, more intimate, group of friends. My husband and I met at work as well, @Kynlei, and it was a good match. I found out later that, when answering his mother about how he knew I was the one, he said it was because he could be alone with me in the same room. And I get that.

My husband and I are both introverts. We met at work. I made the first move because, well, I was tired of being single. We just get each other in a way that nobody else does. We've never fought and only argue every once in a while and we've been together for over 14 years. I can't speak for other people, but it worked for us. I suppose it won't be that way for everyone, just because that's the nature of relationships.
