I planted this a year ago, it started flowering in May and continued right through to mid November, so I was well pleased with that and plan to get a few more shortly..

It's finally spring and we need to remember that conservation is an important part of gardening and we shouldn't waste anything. Plus a garden is a darned good place to get rid of a body. ;)

My 13 tomato plants are really growing. Since the last picture I posted, they have growm to 6 and 1/2 to 7 feet tall. In a week or so, they will grow to over 8 feet then begin to flop over to form a canopy between rows.

Loads of tomatoes set on, some as big as 3 and 1/2 inches wide. Although they are still green, I can already taste those black heirloom tomatoes in my mind. Just another 2 to 3 weeks until I can taste them in reality.
