Our spring flora is glorious this year in the PNW, after a mild winter and early spring!

My Albiqua Blue Crinkles Hosta went from ground to mound in about 3 weeks, bigger than ever at about 4' across. In back are a Russet Fern, Wild Huckleberry, Mock Orange, Black Lace Leaf Elderberry, and Blue Deodora Cedar.

Does anyone recognise this parrot-beak blossom? Not a Lotus Vine (they line my front walk), but a finely branched shrub with tiny leaves, contorted like the Chinese Dragon plant.

A lovely evening hike through a favorite wooded area has Chelsea posing within a cluster of ancient Western Red Cedars - "Mother Cedar" - with trunks 5'-7' in diameter. I love walking among them, so humbling.

The Hosta plant is gorgeous! Never saw the plant with the yellow flowers before, it’s really pretty, and those trees are certainly majestic!!
