My first raspberries, hiding behind some rudbeckia blooms. I didn't expect berries until second year. I only planted them in March.
This site is still rotating all my pics, btw. It is not me, I swear! Lol

I've been trying to grow raspberries in eastern NC for the last 35 yrs . Dorman reds were very productive and sweet but lacked the red raspberry flavor . Heritage did alright and Caroline did the best . I wouldn't expect gallons but the few I get make it worth it to me .

Have you tried rotating your pics in the opposite direction before posting?

Yep to pre-rotating. The site just over-corrects, and it ends up still wrong.

I really like red raspberries, i was going too but i have 2 big thickets of blackberries out front and the river fence has plenty of encroaching going on so i prune them and utilize them also...
Freeze them every year. I was thinking of a red thornless for the yard. Still may put in some.
Nice little garden surprise for ya...
